Maine Soup Fund Recipient Ozgur Ugras

Maine Soup is happy to announce that the recipient of the Maine Soup Fund was Intermedia MFA student Ozgur Ugras. Ozgur took home $100 to support his interactive documentary project. We will hear more from him at the next Maine Soup in August 2013. Please check the Maine Soup face book page for updates.

Maine Soup is happy to announce its new home at the IMRC building on the University of Maine campus. This creative micro-funding soup dinner will take place once a month starting in the Fall of 2013.

About Maine Soup:

Maine Soup is a microfunding soup dinner that supports local artists by funding their projects. Have an idea for a creative project? Come eat with fellow artists, pay $5 dollars, give a 2-3 minute presentation and your project will be in the running to receive all the money raised by the dinner that night!

Don’t have a project? Come soak up the inspiration and see what this amazing community is up to.
