Short Format Animation Movie Night: Hosted by Gene Felice

It’s movie night at the IMRC; short format animation movie night that is! Bring your comfy clothes and get ready to enjoy an evening of short animated features. This evening’s screening will be hosted by UMaine faculty member, Gene Felice.

This will be one of two movie nights at the IMRC Center and are a part of Tuesdays at the IMRC, a visiting artist lecture series, both hosted by Gene Felice. Felice states, “My first animation night will be dedicated to short format animations, mostly Japanese with a few western curveballs thrown in. We’ll see work from Studio 4ºC, the infamous Liquid Television series, as well as the work of Kunio Kato, Osamu Tezuka, Shingeru Tamura, among others.”

The screening will take place on Tuesday February 9th at 7:00pm.

Opened in 2013, the IMRC Center is a hub for learning, creating and producing.
