IMRC Center to Host Immersive Workshop Series

The Innovative Media Research and Commercialization (IMRC) Center at the University of Maine will host an Immersive Workshop Series this fall. All workshops in the series are to be held at the IMRC Center on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-9:00 PM and are open to students, faculty, staff, and the greater public.

With generous support from the Alton ’38 and Adelaide Hamm Campus Activity Fund, workshops are free to registered attendees. Topics will include podcast recording and production, computer numerical control (CNC) machining, large-format 2D printing and vinyl cutting, 3D modeling and printing, and laser etching and design. Workshops will focus on providing opportunities for guided hands-on experiences and group discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
