The IMRC Center offers a wide range of programming. It is our intent to maximize our potential by providing IMRC users a variety of events, such as performances, exhibitions, lectures and vising artists, educational opportunities through classes and workshops, and provide direct support to our community by our residency program, fellowships to local users and student support through internships, workstudy and Research Assistant positions, as well as supporting the Correll Commercialization Awards.

The IMRC Center is also home for several nationally recognized academic programs at the University of Maine. This Includes the nationally ranked New Media Department that combines innovation with digital tools and technologies, the Intermedia MFA Program a unique hybrid program that focuses on creative production and research, and the new graduate certificate in Innovative Communication Design (ICD) a fully on line program that provides professionals with access to classes on digital tools and communication skills 24 hours a day.
